The Challenge
Creating a web portal that will allow the user to collaborate and manage internal audit planning, fieldwork & reporting that is part of Assent’s suite. This was a low-budget, tight-deadline project I worked on as the lead UX designer at Assent. It required tight collaboration with the project manager, as well as clients, to understand and deliver a product that satisfies users, clients, and business needs.
The Insight
After speaking to our users and clients, we established a critical need to create an application allowing them to request and follow up with their supplier on further information regarding their products and companies.
AAIM aims to help resolve the communication issues between our clients and their supply chain that we identified during our research. The application allows users to send further requests for information, as well as delicate projects to different teams and collaborate within their company and teams.

As part of my role as a UX designer at Assent, I have created detailed personas that are used in all Assent projects, highlighting the needs and workflows of each project, including AAIM.

Prepare UX high-fidelity wireframes and mockups that clearly illustrate how the product should look and function. Present my designs to the teams and key stakeholders, and adjust them based on their feedback.

Insight and solution
After speaking with our users and clients, we identified a critical need to create an application that enables them to request and follow up with their suppliers for additional information about their products and companies. AAIM aims to help resolve the communication issues between our clients and their supply chain that we identified during our research. The application allows users to send further requests for information, as well as delicate projects to different teams and collaborate within their company and teams.
We developed a web application that reflected our primary user needs by enhancing communication and facilitating clear conversations between clients and their supply chain. This application will be integrated into the Assent Compliance portal and has already been used by many of our clients, receiving great feedback.
